​Exactly 20 years ago, Willow Garage launched modern Silicon Valley robotics by creating an open-source research lab in Menlo Park. ROS, OpenCV, the PR2, Zipline, and a generation of founders came out of one house with one mission: accelerate robotics. Its DNA is everywhere today.

​Twenty years later, we have plenty of robotics companies - yet we could have more deployments and a more open community.

​We believe there's a faster way: connect adjacent teams, fill the gaps, and ship. This house is a deployment-first community.

​Imagine walking in with a potential client or a hardware prototype - and deploying in a month, not a year. The right partners, tier-1 researchers, and industry leaders are already in the room. Need a custom sim engine? A data collection facility? Underwater welding robotics or landing on Mars? Someone here has done it.

​And on any given evening, you might walk in on the most open, highest-quality debates in robotics - led by the people actually building the industry.

​That's the house we're creating - inspired by the founders of Willow Garage, who will be joining us.

​We'll be cooking traditional plov outside. Come hungry - for food and for the future.
