Human Augmentation & Self Guided Evolution
Please join our friends and special guests, David Eagleman and Ed Boyden, for a lively discussion on brain augmentation and longevity
💖
Human technological progress, in many ways, has been for the purpose of increasing the affordances, types of experiences, and lifespan of the human race. With the advent of new anthropomorphic technologies like our modern AI software systems, we often hear much of the rhetoric being dominated by how people think about a world without people or how to replace people.
We'd like to imagine a much more interesting, hopeful outcome, built for the benefit of the human being.
With the advent of neurotech, longevity protocols, genetic engineering, and other methodologies of human augmentation, we look to explore the future of human-guided evolution.
As these disparate technologies intersect in the near future, our goal is to explore the possibilities of what's to come and to inspire a sense of optimism to create a human-centric future.
