Take a stroll through the native plant demonstration garden at LA State Historic Park. Explore the queer world of plants, learn the story behind this planting, and get curious about how native plant spaces shape our city and our climate.
Why this park?
Once a railyard, now a 32-acre state park and a California native plant paradise. Neighbors and green-space advocates protected this land, and today, its variety of displayed California biomes trace the LA River and the city's ecological and industrial history.
