Three full days, one theme, and a room full of people building games side by side.

​GameDevelopHer is hosting the local TLV community site for GMTK Game Jam 2026 — one of the world's largest online game jams — at Xsolla Club TLV, 7th floor, da vinci 14 Tel Aviv.

🔸 Free. No commitment. Drop in whenever it works for you, stay as long as you want — you don't have to come every day.

🔸 All creator roles welcome — developers, artists, designers, writers, musicians, students, complete beginners, advanced rockstars.

🔸 🔸 Note: Original Game Jam of GMTK starts at Wednesday 22.06, a day before our workspace in Xsolla Club opens for event. You are welcomed to start at Wednesday. We chose to open in Thursday to fit Israeli schedule.

​📅 How the weekend works

​Thursday 23.07 — Saying Hi at DrinkUp TLV, The Spot Hostel (a separate community event ). You can find your future teammates for the game jam there. From 23:00 after the DrinkUp, Xsolla Club opens for jammers.

​Friday–Sunday 24–26.07 — Xsolla Club is open 24/7 for registered jammers. It's a workspace built for game developers: playtesting area with gaming PCs, high-speed internet, meeting rooms, podcast room, quiet rooms, food, drinks and beer.

​Sunday 26.07 — Submit your game on GMTK itch.io page by 20:00 (official GMTK deadline).
Then: doors 20:30, public showcase. Show what you made — finished or not!

​A game jam is a friendly challenge (like hackathon):
everyone gets the same surprise theme, and you have the weekend to make a small game inspired by it — any tool, any style, any experience level. It's not a competition you need to win; it's the fastest, most fun way to make your first (or fiftieth) game.

​GMTK Game Jam is the biggest one hosted in itch.io, run by Game Maker's Toolkit — Mark Brown's hugely popular game design YouTube channel:
