Come kick off the semester with AI@UNM on September 16th at the Farris Engineering Center. We will be providing PIZZA and drinks 🍕 + 🥤.
AI@UNM is a collaborative student org bringing together students, researchers, builders, and the broader AI community. What we offer:
✏️ WORKSHOP SERIES
For newcomers to learn the technical foundations of AI and for experienced members to explore new ideas in the field
Topics include: Neural Network Fundamentals, AI Safety/Mechanistic Interpretability, Language Modelling, Generative AI in Biochemistry, etc.
💻 PROJECT PROGRAM
Choose to complete a PROJECT from project list link, or bring forward your own idea
We support you with MENTORSHIP and COMPUTE
👤 GUEST SPEAKERS
Come hear professors, researchers, and industry professionals talk about their work.
Outside of the club we are involved in the broader AI community through the UNM AI Steering Committee and New Mexico AI Consortium.
Whether you're a researcher, a skeptic, or just curious, the Welcome Event will be a great opportunity to meet current members of the club while also getting an idea for how you can get involved this semester. Food and beverages will be provided!
