UQIES Stupid Hackathon 2026
Do you have an idea so absurd, so utterly useless, that it needs to exist? Then welcome to UQIES Stupid Hackathon 2026!
Because the best ideas are sometimes the worst ideas
Join the University of Queensland Innovation and Entrepreneurship Society for our inaugural Stupid Hackathon - a 24-hour celebration of magnificently useless technology!
What is a Stupid Hackathon? Forget changing the world. Forget solving real problems. This hackathon is about building the most gloriously pointless, hilariously impractical, and beautifully stupid tech projects imaginable. Think: apps that make your life worse, websites that serve no purpose, or gadgets that solve problems nobody has.
