Paris Reception

​The Chief of Staff Association is pleased to invite you to an evening members' reception in Paris.

​Hosted by Annie Scacco, CSA Engagement Lead for Continental Europe, this event will bring together senior chiefs of staff and strategic leaders from across France.

​Our speaker for the evening is Sean Cunniff - British Army officer, former British Military Attaché in Paris, and a leader with more than 25 years' experience at the intersection of strategy, diplomacy and operational delivery.

​Sean has held senior roles within NATO, served as a chief of staff within a British Army operational brigade, and advised UK defence leaders on Euro-Atlantic security policy and complex international decision-making. He also served as CEO of the Royal School of Military Engineering Regiment, the largest residential technical training college in Europe.

​Drawing on that experience, Sean will reflect on the chief of staff role within French and broader European contexts - including where it overlaps with and differs from that of directeur / directrice / chef(fe) de cabinet.
