Join us for a screening of Apocalypse Now - Francis Ford Coppola's Anti-War masterpiece - and discussion after.
Note that this is a quite heavy film and is not for everyone, a story about a Boat Captain during the Vietnam War- who is on a mission to assassinate a renegade Special Forces officer.
The film deals with such concepts as the folly of war, the effect of war on everyone involved- both the military and the civilians - and a strong commentary on the brutality of the Vietnam War.
If ever there was a film in need of unpacking, inspection, and exploration through communal conversation and discussion- this is it.
While we usually are able to break about 9:30, expect conversation to run until at least 10:30 due to the length of the film.
