📽️ A documentary screening at PEAKS: The AI Doc, or How I Became an Apocaloptimist

🎬 Watch the trailer

If you've spent any time around AI discourse, you know the names: Sam Altman, Dario Amodei, Daniela Amodei, Emily M. Bender. They're all in this film — sitting down with Daniel Roher, the Oscar-winning director of Navalny, who decided to spend his pre-fatherhood months staring into the AI question. Daniel Kwan (Everything Everywhere All At Once) is producing. The animation is hand-drawn. The tone is, in the film's own coinage, apocaloptimist — somewhere between dread and stubborn hope.

We're hosting a public screening at PEAKS, our AI safety co-working space in central Zurich, and sticking around to talk about it: what landed, what felt off, what's missing.

🍿🥤 Free popcorn and drinks. A good chance to meet people working on this full-time and see the space.
