May Virtual Meetup
I was always afraid this would happen. It's been — what — 20 years? Longer? Of waiting. Wondering. Ignoring.
Feeling too afraid to feel. Wanting it to be something. It not.
Well no longer!
This month, we'll have demos from these lovely folks:
Jasmine Otto has an update to a project she demoed before called Multiplayer Bitsy, which is a cute lil env for making games, used in education. This is legit authentic use stuff, y'all'll love it.
Ivan Lugo reached out with a cool web-based IDE experiment he's been tinkering on.
Luke Stanley has a… well, heck, I'm just gonna copy-paste what he said cuz it rules: "a 2D visual language topic map ZUI with a tricky no-overlap but high semantic spatial fidelity condition (from highly dimensional semantic embeddings). It's an annoyingly thorny problem that people will laugh at as being hard in no time at all though. (But that's probably true of most things.)"
Cool.
