Abstract:

​Data anonymisation is more than a legal checkbox—it’s a strategic enabler for innovation, collaboration, and responsible data use. In this talk, Simone Griesser shows how organisations can transform sensitive written text or voice data into compliant, high‑value assets without compromising privacy. Participants try the web-based anonymisation service and get exclusive access to the API for a limited time. Also, Simone will present the latest results from the anonymisation benchmark study that is currently carried out.

​​​About the Speaker:

​Simone specialises in Natural Language Processing (NLP), marketing, and communication. At Datenwertschöpfung GmbH she supports organisations hands‑on in unlocking the value of data while ensuring privacy, compliance, and ethical data handling. She began her career as a vocational trainee at Imholz, then worked at IBM and American Express. This path allows her to navigate the needs of both small and large international companies with ease. Simone is a board member of the SwissNLP association. She reviews for the Swiss Data Science and European Marketing Association Conferences.
