Founder Stories: An Evening with Amazing Entrepreneurs

Ever wonder what it really takes to build a company from the ground up?

Join the UW Tech Exploration Lab and Transcend UW for an exclusive fireside chat with successful founders and executives. Forget the stuffy presentations and slides—this is a candid, conversation-style panel where you'll hear the real stories behind the victories, pivots, and challenges of the startup journey.

This is your chance to get an unfiltered look at the entrepreneurial world, ask your burning questions directly to those who have done it, and experience the UW campus innovation ecosystem.

Meet the Panelists

Max Schauff: A UW-Madison recent graduate whose entrepreneurial journey began right here on campus, where he won the Transcend UW InnovationCompetition in 2018. He is the Co-founder of LineLeap, the go-to app for nightlife doing 8-figures annual recurring revenue and a valuation of over $100 million, serving more than 1.5 million customers at 600+ venues nationwide.

Mike Trigg: Mike is a Wisconsin-raised author, angel investor, and entrepreneurship coach with over 25 years of experience as a founder, executive, and investor in Silicon Valley. His journey includes roles at telecom giants MCI and 3Com and being an early employee at Octane Software (acquired by Epiphany). He co-founded data analytics firm Truviso (acquired by Cisco) and held leadership positions at hi5, Entelo, and Hightail (acquired by OpenText). More recently, he served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at AI-focused venture funds.

Mike has published two novels and has been a contributor to TechCrunch, Fast Company, and Entrepreneur. He lives in California with his wife and two sons, one of whom is a sophomore at UW-Madison.
