The event is brought to you by International Women Day (IWD) 2026, A Women Techmakers Event of Technovation, Pace University Seidenberg School of CSIS, the Pace AI Lab, the GDG on Campus at Pace University, and the Pace Women in Tech Club.
Opportunity to present a lightning talk
Attendees have the opportunity to do a 5-minute lightning talk.
A lightning talk is a very short presentation in which a speaker shares one key idea, insight, or project. It is fast-paced and focused, usually supported by just a few slides. Lightning talks are commonly used at events to allow several speakers to share perspectives in a short amount of time. They typically include a brief introduction, a clear main message, and a short takeaway.
You may present a capstone project, a personal project, a startup, or another initiative you would like to share. Each lightning talk will have one presenter, but the work presented may be a team project or initiative. Coaching sessions will be organized to help presenters prepare. Only 10 lightning talks will be selected. The slides of the lightning talks will be due on April 4th.
