Day 3 | Nikon Tour Boston | NIKKOR Z Lens Day
Join us at the Union Wharf for free photography workshops! Pick the session that best fits your schedule.
Take your photography further with an advanced hands-on workshop set along the harbor.
Join Mike Mezeul for a free session designed for experienced photographers looking to refine their creative approach and get more from their gear. Explore advanced techniques for working with natural light, composing impactful images, and using lenses intentionally to shape perspective, depth, and visual storytelling.
Capturing ships, skylines, and everything that builds the deep character seen across Boston, participants will photograph the landscape around and across the harbor while experimenting with focal lengths and creative techniques. Mike will also share insights on lens selection and camera settings to create more intentional images in the field.
You'll have the opportunity to shoot with Nikon Z5II, Z5IIC, Z6III, and Z8 cameras, paired with an extensive selection of 15+ different lenses available for hands-on trial. Compare focal lengths, test specialty lenses, and discover how different optics can dramatically influence the look and feel of your photographs. Whether you're interested in portraiture, equine photography, landscapes, or visual storytelling, this workshop will help you expand your technical skills and creative vision while making the most of the character and architecture of the city.
