Beyond the prototype: shipping AI-generated code to production
AI-generated code looks impressive in a demo, but what happens when it ships and needs to become a working prototype?
This session takes an honest look at what is needed for AI-generated code to successfully move out of the sandbox and into real production environments.
Kyle Carriedo and Ben Sharpe will lead the conversation. Kyle is a former senior engineer at Apple, where he spent years building products and pitching them at the executive level before relocating to Miami to help launch and scale companies. Ben Sharpe is an Apple and Microsoft alum, former CTO at CoinList, and founder of CodeBake, with over 37 years of engineering experience across multiple generations of complex systems.
Together, they'll cover:
Security vulnerabilities that surface when generated code reaches production
QA implications and how AI changes the testing surface area
Hallucination liability and what it means when no one owns the logic
Managing technical debt at scale when AI is part of the build process
This is an intentional, working session for engineering leaders, technical founders, corporate innovators, and anyone engaged in moving beyond he prototype phase of something they've built or are building.
