Enjoy fresh coastal air, and take in awe-inspiring views while reconnecting with nature and fellow hikers.

🗓️ Hike Info

  • Date: Sun, 5th April 2026

  • Difficulty: Intermediate

  • Distance: 14.5km

  • Duration: 5 to 6 hours

  • Meeting Point: Seaford Train Station, BN25 2AR

  • Finishing Point: National Trust - Birling Gap - This is a one-way hike. To return to our starting point, we will be catching a bus back to Seaford Station.

🚥 Transport Options

  • 🚅 Train-Friendly: Trains from London Bridge (1.5hrs) - recommend: 08:46am departure & booking an open-return ticket

  • 🚗 Self-drive: Parking available at meeting point

🕐 Estimated Schedule

  • 11:00am – Meet at Seaford Train Station, BN25 2AR

  • 11:30am – Hike starts

  • 13:30pm: Lunch/Salah break

  • 5:00pm – Hike ends

🧥 Dress Code

  • Wear hiking boots – trails may be uneven

  • Dress in layers to adjust for weather

  • Bring a waterproof jacket – just in case

  • Sisters: Short abaya preferred – long ones may drag on dusty or muddy paths

🥪 What to Bring

  • Packed lunch, snacks & at least 2L of water

  • Optional: prayer mat, walking sticks, hat

1️⃣ Punctuality Policy

Arrive by the meeting time for check-in and safety briefing. The hike starts promptly at the start time - no late entries allowed.

2️⃣ Waiver of Liability

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk and agree that the organisers are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the hike.

3️⃣ Refund Policy

All ticket purchases are final. No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled by Somali Hikers.
