Living Storybook
Boon Lay Nature Garden, a communal experimental gardening space at Jurong Central Park, provided inspiration for illustrations in a children’s book, “The Three Hungry Microbes”.
Co-authors Cuifen Pui and Dorcas Tang asked, "What if we bring the story and art to the garden?"
The activities:
- Storytime
- Look out for artworks hidden in the garden
- Contribute to a nature mandala
- Add doodles or paint on a travelling artwork
These sessions are for:
- Families with children between ages 7 to 10
- Anyone who enjoys exploring not-so-manicured gardens
In the event of rain or haze, we will email to cancel the session by 8am on the same day.
