​After two consecutive sold-out years, McGill Ventures is excited to present Scarlet Pitch: MasterChef Edition!

​Scarlet Pitch is our flagship, high-energy startup pitch event inspired by Dragon’s Den and Shark Tank. This is where Montreal’s most promising early-stage founders pitch their ventures live to a panel of venture capital investors and operators.

​🔥 To turn up the heat, this year's edition also features a special “Spicy Round”, a rapid-fire twist where each founder has 60 seconds to pitch a food of their choice. It’s fast, fun, and a true test of creativity, storytelling, and persuasion.

​🚀 Join 200+ students, founders, and VCs for a dynamic and ambitious evening! Founders will present their startups, defend their business models through live Q&A, and compete for the top spot in front of a highly engaged audience. Come watch them cook, pitch, and serve as innovation meets flavor on stage.

Opening remarks, with an introduction to McGill Ventures, our event partners (BDC and Zú), and our lineup of judges

​​6:30 – 7:45 PM | Startup Pitches + Q&A
Four carefully selected startups will pitch their ventures in front of the judging panel of VCs and operators

​​7:45 – 8:00 PM | "Spicy Round": Food Pitches
Each founder has 60 seconds to pitch a food!

​​8:00 – 8:10 PM | Judges Deliberation

​​8:10 – 8:15 PM | Winner Announcement & Closing Remarks
