π Reflect, reset & plan ahead (Monthly planning sessions)
βFind your focus, share your wins, plan your month, together.
βEver feel like the month just... happened to you? You're not alone. That's exactly why we're launching these Monthly Planning Sessions for the Generalist World community.
βWhat's this all about?
βOnce a month, we're gathering fellow generalists, freelancers, self-employed folks, and portfolio careerists (basically anyone juggling multiple things and in need of some peer accountability!) for a dedicated hour to pause, reflect, and plan.
βNo corporate goal-setting nonsense. No productivity hacks that make you feel rubbish. Just a supportive space where you can think clearly about where you've been and where you're heading next.
βWho's this for?
βAnyone with a squiggly career path who wants to feel more intentional about their work and life. Whether you're freelancing, building a portfolio career, running a side project, or just trying to navigate being your own boss β you're welcome here.
βThese sessions are inspired by the brilliant work of Emma Cragg, who ran monthly planning sessions for freelancers and independent workers for three years. They generously shared resources so we can create this space for our community.
βHere's how it works:
βWelcome & settling in (5 mins) β Get comfy, say hello
βReview the last month (15 mins) β What worked? What didn't? What surprised you?
βShort break (5 mins) β Share insights if you'd like, or just breathe
βPreview the next month (15 mins) β What's coming up? What matters most?
βWrap-up (5 mins) β Leave with clarity and a plan
βWant to go full-on? Stick around after this session for our Content Planning Session if you're ready to map out your content and marketing for the month ahead!
βYour Host: Ece Kurtaraner β community queen of Generalist World. She's hosted hundreds of virtual coworking sessions over the past five years. She's happiest when bringing people together and creating spaces where people can collaborate, share, and grow.
βThis event is organised by Generalist World - the community where generalists belong. You'll find everything you need to grow in your career - support, opportunity, lots of learning and great new connections.
