Solar integration for heritage buildings: a path to decarbonisation

​Organised as a Satellite event of the New European Bauhaus Festival and coordinated by the EU-funded INCREASE project, the roundtable “Solar integration for heritage buildings: a path to decarbonisation”.

The discussions will bring together experts in heritage conservation, architecture, and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) to explore how solar technologies can be effectively integrated into historic buildings.

Using the Gare Maritime renovation as a key case study, the discussion will focus on balancing architectural heritage preservation with Europe’s decarbonisation objectives, while sharing recent insights and practical experiences from the sector.
