Weiyang will share how OCBC built Compass.AI, its in-house platform for enterprise AI, and the thinking behind balancing developer velocity with governance. Through Compass.AI's architecture and capabilities, including chatbots, RAG, visual app building, and reusable components, he'll walk through how the team approaches security, approval workflows, and version control while enabling teams to build AI applications at scale. He'll also share how Compass.AI closes the feedback loop by capturing user interactions and feedback as production signals, allowing AI applications to continuously improve after deployment. Alex Chng (Lead Product Manager, GovTech) will share on "Airlift: Engineering AI for Developer Productivity."
AI coding assistants are only one part of the developer experience. Alex will share how GovTech is building Airlift to support developer productivity, covering the technical considerations behind integrating AI into software engineering workflows. Through practical examples, he'll discuss the engineering decisions, challenges, and trade-offs involved in building AI-native developer tools for production use. (Technical Level: 100–200)

With a background in product design and hands-on experience across RAG pipelines, AI agents, and evaluation frameworks, he specializes in bridging the gap between impressive prototypes and production-ready AI.
Song Weiyang is a data scientist at OCBC Group building reusable AI Platforms and products – from enterprise infrastructure to customer-facing solutions – to unlock efficiency and value across the organisation.
Alex Chng is a Lead Product Manager at GovTech, where he has spent the past five years building engineering platforms and developer tooling. With over a decade of experience in enterprise technology and product management, he focuses on helping engineering teams build more efficiently through internal platforms and AI-powered development workflows.
