About Event

The 2nd Annual Miami Startup Ecosystem Conference will be held on Feb 12 - 13, 2026 at Miami Dade College Auditorium at Wolfson Campus, Downtown Miami.

This conference is designed to catalyze innovation by bringing together Venture Capitalists, Startup Founders, and Tech Leaders for 2 days of ideas, relationships, and entrepreneurship.

Organized by the Tech + Startups Community in Partnership with Miami Dade College.

Join us for a day of hands-on, actionable insights from VCs, Startup Founders, and Executives who have scaled and exited. Learn real tactics that startups can implement to scale from 0 to $10M and from $10M to $100M+.

Let's walk through our Confirmed Speakers:

1) Eugene Malobrodsky is a VC and Exited Founder visiting from Silicon Valley, the epicenter of the Tech World. One Way Ventures is an Immigrant Founder-focused fund based in the Bay Area and Boston. Their portfolio is exceptional.

2) Olivia Gaudree, Partner and VP Operations, Fuel Venture Capital. As VP of Operations, Olivia is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing operations at Fuel VC to meet current and future needs of the company.


3) Inga Broerman is a Washington DC-based Tech CMO at BluLogix. She has experience at the highest levels of Enterprise, Startups, and Scale-ups. She offers a wealth of knowledge and insights.

4) Saxon Baum is a Partner at Florida Funders, a hybrid venture capital fund and investor network, where he leads efforts to connect top-tier investors with the most promising entrepreneurs across the country.

5) Ryan Pruitt is a Managing Director at Ocean Azul Partners. Ryan Pruitt utilizes 10+ years of audit, accounting, and finance experience to help early-stage companies build and execute well-informed, strategic plans.

6) Mark Volchek is a Founding Partner at Las Olas Venture Capital. He co-founded Higher One and led it from seed funding to a successful IPO in 2010, where it reached over $250M in revenue and 1,000 employees. Mark holds a BA and MA in Economics from Yale University.

7) Justis Mendez, Managing Partner, OneSixOne Ventures. Justis Mendez is pioneering a new playbook: VC Fund, Platform, and Community all in one.

8) David Bitton, Co-Founder of DoorLoop (Series B, $100M). David is a serial entrepreneur and an exited Founder. DoorLoop is a Miami PropTech Success Story.

9) Danielle Mousseau is Director of Economic Development at 35 Mules (FPL / NextEra Energy) an innovation hub that provides resources and support to startups with the goal of growing Florida's next generation of world-changing companies.

Since 2020, the 35 Mules program has supported 20 startups who have received more than $47 million in investment, funding and grants and has provided a $75 million economic impact to Florida. Danielle and her team take a lead role in connecting the startup ecosystem across the state.

10) Sam Bhagwat, Founder & CEO of Mastra (YC W25), an open-source TypeScript framework that gives JavaScript and TypeScript developers everything they need to build and ship AI agents. Sam is an Exited Founder and Author of the popular book, "Principles of Building AI Agents."

Mastra is backed by the world's top investors: Y Combinator, Pioneer Fund, Orange Collective, Gradient, and bc.

11) Joining us from Silicon Valley is Paul Neyman, Co-Founder & CRO of Areti Health, a VC-backed HealthTech platform transforming patient engagement through generative AI and advanced analytics for Fortune 100 pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations.

12) Katya Fisher, Founder & CEO, Aracor AI (Pre-Seed, $4.5M), an AI-Native dealmaking platform that automates what slows you down, uncovers insights hidden in the fine print, and puts legal and deal teams in full control.

13) Zach Rubin, Head of Growth & Media at Traded Media (Traded: Venture Capital, Traded: New York, etc.) Overseeing growth and media at Traded, he offers unparalleled insights from millions of impressions and thousands of interactions within the investment and tech communities.

14) Chris Schwenk is the host of Miami's Fast Growing Tech Jobber Podcast. Chris will be recording an episode of the show on stage via a Fireside Chat with Olivia Gaudree, Partner and VP Operations at Fuel Venture Capital. He is also the founder of Delos Staffing.

15) Pedro A. Santos Acosta is a dynamic and accomplished leader in the field of emerging technologies, currently serving as the Executive Director of Emerging Technologies at Miami Dade College.

16) Kathy Chiu, Managing Partner of DeepWork Capital. Kathy is serving or has served on boards of several portfolio companies, including Artist Growth, Imperative, and HCW Biologics (Nasdaq: HCWB). She has also served as independent director of other organizations, such as Florida-headquartered retailer Bealls Inc..

She has a BS and a MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She speaks fluent Taiwanese and Mandarin.

17) Amir Emacha, Founder & CEO of Microhub, a key Miami Startup making cities more livable by setting the new standard for packagemanagement. Acting as a personal assistant for residential communities, Microhub ensures every package arrives exatly as residents want - reliabily, securely, and at the right time.

18) Matt Sattler is Co-Founder & CEO, Detect (35 Mules, Cohort 4), a Miami-based company whose AI- powered solutions help utilities identify electrical grid defects before they cause costly power failures. 

Prior to founding Detect, he built and scaled a data & AI business for HSBC across five countries.

19) Denis Hiller, Managing Partner, 1001 VC. Founder & CEO, Tech + Startups Community. 3x Founder, 2 Exits.
