Got Tech That Can Make Cities Safer? Explore Dimension X Cohort 8 π¦Ύ
βDo you have technologies that can make cities safer? Put it to the test in Singapore πΈπ¬
βReceive SGD 100,000 in non dilutive funding a nd solve real-world public safety challenges. The opportunity to develop a Proof of Concept with HTX and Home Team officers.
βFor startups looking to move beyond the lab and prove what their technology can do in the real world, Dimension X offers an opportunity to develop, test and validate solutions against actual public safety and security challenges in Singapore.
βThe call for applications for Dimension X Cohort 8 is now open, inviting innovative startups to work on meaningful use cases in collaboration with Home Team officers and HTX scientists and engineers.
βProudly organised by One Tree Hill Ventures in partnership with TechX Ventures and HATCH, this session will introduce startups to the Dimension X programme, its latest challenge statements and the opportunities available to companies looking to validate their technologies in Singapore's public safety ecosystem.
βSelected startups will receive SGD 100,000 in non dilutive funding to develop a Proof of Concept (POC), giving them the opportunity to test their technology against relevant use cases, work alongside domain experts and explore potential real world applications.
βIf you are looking for a meaningful use case, expert collaboration or an opportunity to demonstrate your technology's potential in a real operational context, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
βMeet the Speaker
βJoin us as we welcome Gerald Chow, Open Innovation & Lead Program Manager at HATCH and TechX Ventures, who will share insights into Dimension X, the programme's challenge areas and how startups can explore opportunities to validate their technologies through collaboration with HTX and Singapore's Home Team.
βWhether you are building advanced sensing capabilities, autonomous systems, maritime technologies or something entirely unconventional, come discover where your technology could make a difference.
βWhat Challenges Are We Looking to Solve?
βDimension X is seeking innovative technologies across seven challenge areas:
β1. Detection of Small Aerial Drones
βDevelop solutions that can detect small aerial drones under challenging sensing conditions.
β2. Countermeasures on Non Emitting Drones
βExplore innovative approaches to countering drones that do not emit detectable signals.
β3. Autonomous Drone Collision Avoidance
βDevelop autonomous collision avoidance capabilities for small multirotor drones navigating around static and dynamic obstacles.
β4. Real Time Maritime Perception
βEnable high speed, real time perception capabilities for existing Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs).
β5. Resilient Vessel Localisation
βDevelop reliable vessel localisation technologies for environments where Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are unavailable or subject to spoofing.
β6. High Throughput Standoff Detection
βExplore novel technologies for detecting concealed objects on people from a distance, with high throughput capabilities.
β7. Out of the Box Innovation
βHave a technology that could make a meaningful impact on public safety and security but does not fit neatly into the categories above? Dimension X is also open to highly innovative and impactful solutions beyond the listed challenge statements.
βWhat Selected Startups Receive
βSelected startups will receive SGD 100,000 in non dilutive funding to develop a Proof of Concept in collaboration with Home Team officers and HTX scientists and engineers, creating an opportunity to validate their technology against relevant public safety and security use cases.
βThe programme offers startups a chance to engage with domain experts, explore practical applications for their solutions and better understand how their technology could address operational challenges in Singapore.
βWho Should Apply?
βWe welcome startups developing innovative technologies that could address any of the seven challenge areas, particularly those with solutions ready to be tested, adapted or validated against practical use cases.
ββ οΈ You do not need to be an established public safety company to be relevant. If your technology has the potential to solve a meaningful problem, we encourage you to explore the challenge statements and consider applying.
