Bio

Leon Vak

As CTO of Embedded at abra R&D Solutions, I lead the technical architecture and engineering for highly customized, non-standard client projects. My daily work spans hands-on board bring-ups, custom silicon (ARM, RISC-V, ARC), Embedded Linux BSPs (specializing in Yocto project), and RTOS platforms. I work across the full software stack: from complex bare-metal layers and kernel drivers up to higher-level applications, everything primarily in C, C++, and Rust. Alongside running R&D POCs and solving low-level integration issues, I prepare and conduct technical trainings and meetups, while mentoring our development teams and representing the company at presales meetings.
