In 2013, Lex Hoefsloot won the World Solar Challenge with Solar Team Eindhoven. Three years later, in 2016, he co-founded Lightyear to build a solar car you could actually buy.
As CEO he raised money, grew the company to hundreds of people and built a solar car from scratch. Not everything went to plan. He’ll talk about how a student team turned into a company, and what he learned along the way.
