​About This Session

​Venture Dock is honored to host Purna Saggurti, Vice Chairman of Bank of America and Chairman of Global Corporate & Investment Banking, for an exclusive fireside chat.

Over a distinguished career spanning more than three decades, Purna has advised some of the world's largest corporations, CEOs, boards, and investors through landmark transactions, strategic transformations, and defining moments in global markets.

​As Vice Chairman of Bank of America and Chairman of Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Purna helps guide relationships with leading companies around the world and serves as a member of the bank's Management Committee. Prior to his current role, he served as Co-Head of Global Corporate & Investment Banking.

​For more than 34 years, Purna has advised and worked on landmark transactions for global organizations including Dow, DuPont, Ecolab, Engelhard, GE, Hoechst, Huntsman, LyondellBasell, Merck, Occidental Petroleum, Potash Corp, Reliance, Tata Group, and Valspar, among many others.

​Beyond his work in finance, Purna serves on the Executive Board of the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum and the Board of Trustees of the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art. Previously, he served on The Wharton School Graduate Executive Board, the Board of Trustees of Tennessee Technological University, and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the John Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations.

​Purna holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, and an MBA from The Wharton School.
