Oregon Natural Fiber Mill - Factory Tour
Step inside Oregon Natural Fiber Mill, where US-sourced wool and cotton are transformed into all-natural springless mattresses, bedding, and home goods. During this behind-the-scenes tour, you’ll experience the heart of the mill ~ our giant turn-of-the-century garnetting machines ~ where raw fibers are processed into premium batting before being cut, sewn, hand-tufted, and crafted into finished products.
Explore our custom workroom and upholstery studio, learn how natural and reclaimed fibers move through our low-waste production process, and discover how local manufacturing can support a more resilient, responsible, and healthy future.
The tour will begin with a short introduction from Christine Taylor of Limeral Systems and a new impact substack called SKU World: A field magazine for the material economy. Christine is an expert in emerging sustainability trends, climate action, and the evolving policies shaping the future of manufacturing and consumer products.
Guests are welcome to attend this tour on its own or continue the experience with our big sister company, Portland Garment Factory.
