Moving from reflection to creation, this workshop by Lorraine Suxdorf offers a hands-on introduction to Design Thinking while encouraging participants to see how small shifts in perspective can spark new ways of thinking and imagining change.
Using a Design Thinking approach, participants share perspectives and reflect on how lived experience and environments shape the spaces around us.
From these dialogues, participants imagine alternative possibilities, spaces shaped by care, connection, and cultural understanding, and translate ideas into simple visual concepts and prototypes.
Lorraine is a freelance designer, lecturer, coach, and art curator committed to creative education and fostering positive social, ecological, and economic change, particularly in marginalized communities.
