Galentines Cookbook Club: Dessert Person ♥️
Join us for this month’s MTL Cookbook Club: Galentine’s Edition! 💌 By very popular demand, we’ll be baking from Dessert Person by the dessert queen herself, Claire Saffitz 👑
Dessert Person is packed with inventive, deeply satisfying desserts — from Claire’s famous Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies to Salted Halvah Blondies, Miso-Buttermilk Biscuits, and her iconic Blood Orange & Olive Oil Cake.
Expect a table piled high with desserts (and a few savoury bakes), made by us. This Galentine’s edition is all about connection, friendship, and leaning fully into dessert for dinner energy.
We'll be hosted by Barley who will be open exclusively for our event, serving wine and cocktails for purchase throughout the evening.
HOW IT WORKS: must read
1. We select a featured cookbook. We will be baking from Dessert Person by Claire Saffitz!
2. Once you have bought your ticket and secured your spot, you will be sent the Recipe Sign-up Sheet. Please claim your recipe in the Sheet. We each bake one recipe from the cookbook to bring to the event.
3. We gather for a potluck-style dessert party, sampling sweets made by everyone and eating our way through the cookbook!
ACCESSING YOUR RECIPE:
We encourage all participants to support the Author and purchase the book to access your recipe (and many more). Dessert Person can be purchased on Amazon, Indigo, and at your local bookstore.
If cost is prohibitive, call your local library to see if it’s available! If you cannot access the cookbook, please contact me (at [email protected] or @grace_noshes on Instagram) and I will happily share your recipe with you.

The ticket cost is non-refundable should you choose not to participate after purchasing your ticket.
