Zipper Pouch - Intermediate Sewing Class

​Intermediate. Familiar with your machine. Know how to use a cutting mat, quilting ruler, and rotary cutter. Be consistent with sewing an even seam allowance. Then sign up for this fun tote-making class.

​Supplies NEEDED to bring to class:

​½ to 1 yd of fabric with fun designs. This will be a lined pouch with a zipper. We will embellish the outside of the pouch and add a fun zipper pull if time allows.

• ​Bring your own sewing machine if you have one. Four store machines are available to the first to sign up and request them.

• ​You must be familiar with your machine. Know how to use a cutting mat, quilting ruler, and rotary cutter, be consistent with sewing an even seam allowance. (A beginning sewing lesson is available for $25/hr)

• ​Fabric for class can be purchased at CTS, but NOT just prior to class. Fabric can also be purchased at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or online.

• ​Please check the class description for fabric/accessories required prior to attending class.

• ​If you bring your own sewing machine, make sure you have a regular foot and a zipper foot that fits your machine.

• ​Please make sure you have ample thread and your bobbins wound before class.

• ​Items not completed in class can be finished at home.
