MCP Server Builder Series - December Session (NYC)
Join fellow developers and creators for an interactive event dedicated to Model Context Protocol (MCP) server development. Experience hands-on talks and live demos from community members sharing their latest experiments, lessons learned, and innovative approaches.
Whether you're just starting with MCP or have built multiple servers, this gathering offers practical insights and real-world examples to advance your projects and connect with others pushing the boundaries of what's possible with MCP.
What's to expect:
Michael Watson (Head of devrel @ Apollo) content coming soon...
Ebony Louis (DA @ Block) - will share how to bring your MCP server to life with MCP-UI. She’ll demo how to go from static prompt flows to a visual, clickable interface that makes your server feel interactive and intuitive to users
Geno Valente (Head of GTM @ LiquidMetal AI) - Will walk through how his team built the Raindrop MCP server—a state-machine-driven control layer that guides Claude through application development and deployment, managing prompts, updating state, and keeping the AI on track from start to finish.
Adam Azzam (VP of Product @ FastMCP) - will discuss the November 2025 MCP Spec and its support for tasks, what this means for server builders, and what you can build today you couldn't build yesterday.
Billy Jacobson (DA @ Google) - will demo building an MCP server for your Firestore data using the MCP Toolbox For Databases and how you can use the toolbox for a huge variety of databases. He will also show some of the prebuilt tools that allow you to get up and running fast in your agentic AI workflow of choice.
Plenty of time to connect – Light bites, drinks, and the chance to meet fellow builders in the MCP space.
Shout out to our sponsor: This event made possible by our partners at LiquidMetal AI and the folks at Betaworks for the use of their wonderful space.
