hands on: build your second brain with Claude Code & Cowork
Join Avi Agarwal, a staff designer at Postman, for a hands-on workshop designed for non-technical people who want to get started with Claude Code and Claude Cowork. She will share her personal workflows!
In this session, you'll learn how to build your own or your company's "second brain" i.e. a practical system for capturing ideas, organizing information, using skills, generating artefacts — the sky is the limit :)
We'll keep things simple, practical, and interactive. Expect a lively, hands-on session with plenty of room to explore and ask questions.
What we'll cover
Setting up Claude Code & Cowork on your laptop. You'll need a subscription to the Pro Plan, and the Claude Desktop App for Cowork.
Understanding a developer's setup, first principles, basics!
Structuring a single folder as your second brain.
Keeping it updated using Claude Cowork.
Writing your first custom slash command for a workflow you already do every week.
Importing what you already have: Apple Notes, PDFs, screenshots, meeting transcripts.
Live Q&A on how to apply this to your own life or company
We won't go deep into custom agents or anything engineering-heavy — the goal is to break the adoption barrier and get you building.
Format
15 min intro and setup
45 min build your second brain, live
1 hour drinks and conversation: what's your relationship with AI so far? how would you use a second brain? what are you working on — for money and for passion?
Hard stop at 8:00 PM. For those who want to keep going, there are breweries and restaurants within walking distance.
Details
Paid event, Rs. 500 — small fee to keep the room committed and covers drinks + setup. Avi will reach out to you over Email or Whatsapp.
Bring: a laptop (charged), and a messy folder or topic you want to turn into your second brain.
Not for engineers. If you already ship code for a living, this room isn't for you, we're keeping it deliberately non-technical so everyone else can join the movement.
