A New Large-Scale Public Mural Is Coming to Wynwood, But This One Is Different.

​Join us on July 11 for the public reveal of Chasing Rarity a new large-scale mural by visual artist Ahkeem Shaw in the heart of Wynwood.

The Chasing Rarity mural reveal is free and open to the public with RSVP. Space is limited.

​Rooted in the energy of trading card culture, imagination, and the thrill of chasing that rare find, Chasing Rarity tells the story of an alien boy traveling through the galaxy in search of a rare card, only to discover that the rarity he has been searching for already exists within him. Through Ahkeem’s eyes, the mural becomes a vibrant reminder that each of us is one-of-one, shaped by our individuality, creativity, culture, and story.

​The reveal will bring together art, community, education, technology, and culture through a public celebration featuring project partners and collaborators helping bring this vision to life.
