What Is a Journaling Club?
Journaling is often a solo act, but in a group setting it becomes a shared creative experience. Journaling is an easy way to practice expressing your thoughts without the commitment of writing a full story or book. Just show up, write a little, and see where the page takes you.
Once a month we meet to write from prompts and make space for creativity and conversation. We draw inspiration from The Book of Alchemy by Suleika Jaouad along with other sources. Each meeting has its own rhythm, sometimes funny, sometimes reflective, always meaningful.
You’ll write, but sharing is always optional. Truly, no pressure to share. Our group welcomes both brand-new journalers and seasoned writers alike. No RSVP required (but appreciated) and no cost to attend. Refreshments are allowed and feel free to bring treats to share. Everyone is welcome.
