About Event

โ€‹Build a Working Product in Two Days

โ€‹The EdAI Seattle Summit is a two-day, in-person technology and entrepreneurship experience where teens work in teams to identify a real-world problem, speak with potential users, build a working product using AI and modern technology, and pitch what they created.

โ€‹Designed with Muslim teens in mind and open to teens of all backgrounds, the summit brings together ambitious students, experienced mentors, technology professionals, founders, and community leaders for an intensive weekend of building. Not just listening.

โ€‹What Participants Will Do

โ€‹Over two highly interactive days, participants will:

  • โ€‹Explore real problems affecting people and communities

  • โ€‹Choose a specific customer and conduct user discovery

  • โ€‹Form a team around a promising problem

  • โ€‹Build a functional product or prototype

  • โ€‹Receive hands-on guidance from mentors and industry professionals

  • โ€‹Test and improve their ideas

  • โ€‹Present their products in a final pitch competition

โ€‹Participants do not need to arrive with an idea, a team, or advanced technical experience. They should come ready to collaborate, learn quickly, speak with real users, and build something meaningful.

โ€‹Who Should Attend?

โ€‹The summit is primarily designed for high school students. Motivated middle school students and early college students are also welcome.

โ€‹Muslim teens are the summitโ€™s core community, but the event is open to students of every background who are excited about technology, entrepreneurship, AI, and solving real-world problems.

โ€‹What Is Included?

  • โ€‹Two full days of hands-on building

  • โ€‹Guidance from experienced mentors and speakers

  • โ€‹Team formation and structured product-development activities

  • โ€‹Access to modern AI and product-building tools

  • โ€‹Three meals each day

  • โ€‹Final product showcase and pitch competition

  • โ€‹A total prize pool of $3,500
