November Climate Fresk afterwork at MLK Library
Want to help with climate change but don't have time to go back to school for a climate science degree? Good news: you can come hang out at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (Conference Room 401-D) and get the big picture in one fun, hands-on session. Climate Fresk is a collaborative card workshop where you and your table team up to piece together how climate change actually works, from greenhouse gases to rising seas and everything in between. The cards are based on the latest findings from the IPCC, and you'll build the whole picture together, one cause and effect at a time.
Bring your curiosity, a friend, or just yourself (you'll leave with new friends either way). You don't need any science background, only a willingness to puzzle things out, swap ideas, and maybe have a few "ohhh, THAT'S how it connects" moments. By the end, you'll understand the fundamentals of climate science and have a clearer idea of how to take action, whether that's at home, at work, or around your neighborhood. Come play your part in the climate transition
