Burnout Isn't a Badge: How Leaders Protect Energy Without Losing Momentum
A Live Conversation with Melissa Rosen & Kelsey Nuznov, Broadcasting Onboard in Alaska
About This Event
This is a free 60-minute conversation for high-performing women who lead at full capacity and want to stay there.
AI has changed the pace of work. Individual tasks move faster. What follows is more tasks, faster. Context-switching between tools, verifying outputs, managing updates, covering the parts AI gets wrong. The cognitive load shifts. It doesn't go down. And the leadership rhythms that worked 3 years ago are harder to hold now.
This session covers what actually helps. Specific strategies for protecting your energy without stepping back from the work you've built.
Who This Is For
Women who lead teams, run businesses, or carry significant responsibility at work.
Women who keep scheduling rest "after the next project."
Women who have felt the pace of work accelerate over the last 2 years and want a practical conversation about it.
What We'll Cover
What AI is doing to workload and why busyness feels heavier now.
How physical distance from your usual environment affects cognitive recovery.
What protecting your energy actually looks like between the big trips.

About the Speakers
Melissa Rosen
Melissa Rosen is the founder of Roam with Rosen, a cruise-only travel advisory based in the US. She has 80+ personal sailings across 15+ cruise lines and holds Virgin Voyages Gold Tier advisor status. She works primarily with professional women, couples, and group organizers who want expert cruise planning without doing the research themselves. She launched this webinar series to talk about something her clients kept telling her: time away changes how they lead.
Kelsey Nuznov
Director of AI and Technology, Disability Law Group
Kelsey leads complex software implementations and the firm's AI roadmap at Disability Law Group, working across multiple departments and firm processes to integrate AI and technology in a thoughtful, process-driven way. She and Melissa met at Bullhorn, where Kelsey spent 3 years managing SaaS implementations, building team capacity models, and coaching consultants through the company's highest-visibility go-lives. Her day-to-day work runs on decision fatigue and invisible work, the exact traps this seaside chat is built to address.
