About Event

tldr: soapbox portland as we know it is wrapping up, but the work continues -> help us figure out what's next at this event.

We have put our heart and soul into Soapbox events here the last 5 months and unfortunately, the turnout has not been able to support the vision, especially as funding for climate resilience continues to shrink. So, it’s time for Nivi and Soapbox to take a step back from Portland, at least for now, while we reimagine what's next.

This event is for anyone who wants to build a community who cares about the world and each other. Let's talk about what you want from a community group…and then let's build it! And, let's celebrate our volunteers who have put in so much work over the last five months, making Soapbox Project Portland possible.

We’re committed to continuing bringing joyful, community-focused, connection, education, and action based events to Portland. After taking a couple weeks to regroup, we hope to see you on June 23rd to celebrate the hard work folks have put into Soapbox Portland and to give space for our hopes and dreams for what comes next✨

A plant-based dinner will be available. Please arrive between 5-5:30 for dinner.
