Leadership Series: Leadership in Times of Uncertainty with Ian Goldin
Ian Goldin identifies the drivers of global growth, identifying the opportunities for businesses. showing why emerging markets are likely to continue to grow at high levels for the coming decades. Advances in artificial intelligence and robotics are transforming the nature of work and have the potential to replace significant numbers of jobs and widen inequality. The growth of the knowledge economy means that the significance of location is growing, with this leading to a world that is more geographically uneven, rather than flat. The failure to address the negative consequences of uneven growth and rising systemic risks is straining social cohesion. This threatens to fragment societies and disrupt the global economy. Ian Goldin shows how Chiefs of Staff can help leadership to manage uncertainty and address complex challenges while growing reputable businesses.
