Join in with the Stamford Cinema Club as we screen and discuss this 2012 Oscar winner.
It focuses on an Iranian middle-class couple who separate, the disappointment and desperation suffered by their daughter due to the egotistical disputes and separation of her parents, and the conflicts that arise when the husband hires a lower-class caregiver for his elderly father, who has Alzheimer's disease.
We will do a screening of the film and then a discussion session on the themes, characters, director's choices, and production. It is sure to be a good conversation.
