Spring-a-ling: Let's AGO together
(This event is part of Spring-a-ling: a curated festival of DIY 3rd space events across the GTA. To check out more, visit the Happy Town Luma calendar.)
My favourite places to visit in the city is the Art Gallery of Ontario, and it’s even better when it’s free.
One of the best parts of the city is getting to experience it together, and this time we’re doing it inside one of Toronto’s most iconic spaces.
We’ll be heading to the Art Gallery of Ontario for their First Wednesday Night, where admission is free starting at 6:00 PM.
Instead of a structured tour, think of this as a relaxed art wander. We’ll arrive together, explore the gallery at our own pace, and follow whatever pieces spark curiosity or conversation.
You can move solo, pair up, or drift between groups. No pressure, no rules, just space to take it all in.
We’ll regroup partway through and at the end to share what stood out, what surprised us, or even what we didn’t get.
This is for anyone who enjoys art, people-watching, or just being in a beautiful space midweek.
First Wednesday Free tickets are valid after 6 PM and will be available starting Monday, May 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM. You will have to register before to get the tickets. Tickets are given out starting Monday May 4th. Also the Paul McCartney Photographs 1963-64: Eyes of the Storm is free with general admission!
