Crypto and UK Financial Sanctions: The OFSI Perspective

​This exclusive CryptoUK member session brings together experts from the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) to share insights on the UK’s financial sanctions framework and its growing intersection with cryptoassets.

​The session will introduce OFSI’s role and remit, before exploring its Crypto Threat Assessment and the organisation’s evolving journey in addressing the use of digital assets in sanctions evasion and financial crime.

​Members will also gain a clearer understanding of OFSI’s current approach to crypto, including how it is adapting policy and operational practices in response to the increasing role of digital assets across the financial system.
