Into the Sun: An ARMY Creative Gathering
Two BTS-inspired creative workshops for ARMY during ARIRANG concert week

On Friday, September 4, we're hosting two intimate, BTS-inspired creative sessions at Say When studio in West Adams — designed especially for local and out-of-town ARMY looking for something a little different to do together during concert week.
We love a good cup-sleeve event, but if you're looking for a more hands-on way to celebrate this era, come make something inspired by the music, meet other fans, trade freebies, and leave with handmade souvenirs from your ARIRANG week in LA.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4
☀️ 4:00–5:30 PM — ARIRANG Scent Lab
🌊 6:00–7:30 PM — SWIM + MIKROKOSMOS Candle Workshop
The 30-minute break between sessions gives us time to reset the studio and gives ARMY attending both a chance to mingle, take photos, trade freebies, or grab a quick snack before round two.
☀️ SESSION ONE: ARIRANG SCENT LAB
4:00–5:30 PM · $55
What would your favorite BTS era — or ARIRANG song — smell like?
In this guided scent-making workshop, you'll explore a curated fragrance library and learn the basics of building and balancing a fragrance from top to base.
Choose your inspiration from BTS's discography or create a scent around the mood, imagery, and feeling of your favorite track from ARIRANG. You'll experiment with individual fragrance notes before developing a custom blend that's completely your own.
Once you've found your formula, you'll turn it into two different take-home fragrances:
✨ One 15 ml custom perfume spray
✨ One 10 ml custom perfume oil roller
Name your creation, bottle it, and take home a scent memory from your ARIRANG weekend.
Traveling to LA with just a carry-on? This is an especially travel-friendly workshop. Both finished fragrances are compact and easy to pack, so you can bring home something handmade without sacrificing precious suitcase space (or room for concert merch!).
All fragrance ingredients used in the workshop are clean, non-toxic, and thoughtfully selected in keeping with Serein Botanicals’ ingredient philosophy
No prior fragrance-making experience is necessary.
🌊 SESSION TWO: SWIM + MIKROKOSMOS CANDLE WORKSHOP
6:00–7:30 PM · $55
For our evening session, we'll dive into two different candle projects inspired by BTS's ocean and universe imagery.
SWIM Ocean Candle
Create an ocean-inspired candle drawing from the dreamy summer feeling of SWIM.
You'll build your own miniature seascape using elements like:
🐚 Seashells
⭐ Starfish
🏝️ Sand
🪨 Rocks
💎 Gel-wax crystals and ocean details
✨ Shimmery mica
Choose from a selection of summer-inspired fragrances and arrange your elements to create a candle that's completely unique to you.
Mikrokosmos Galaxy Candle Holder
For your second project, you'll create a glowing gel-wax universe inspired by Mikrokosmos, galaxy skies, and ARMY's purple ocean.
You'll learn how to color, marble, layer, and decorate gel wax to create depth and movement inside your own miniature galaxy.
Your finished holder will include battery-operated tealights so you can light up your little universe as soon as you get back to your hotel or home.

Enjoy a full refund or choose to reschedule for another date.3–9 days before the workshop
We can’t offer a refund, but you’ll receive full credit toward a future workshop.Less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows
Since all materials and preparations will already be set, we’re unable to offer a refund or reschedule.
💡 Can’t make it last minute? You’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend—just send us their name ahead of time!
📸 MEDIA CONSENT
By attending, you acknowledge that photos or short videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. We keep photography minimal and respectful, but your hands, artwork, or presence may appear in Serein Botanicals’ social media or marketing materials.
