About the Companies
Techstars x Permanente Medicine has invested $220K into each of the 10 companies in this inaugural class
Each has had a unique opportunity to work with Kaiser Permanente physicians to validate and refine their solutions, and pursue pilots (hear about some at Demo Day).
Areas of focus: founders are innovating in 10 different fields, all aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, reducing costs, and improving care experiences areas; from digital twin technology for controlling chronic conditions, to agentic automation of clinical workflows; and from advanced care at home, to AI-enabled cancer detection for pathologist-support and drug discovery. Also: lifestyle medicine, mental health, ophthalmology, and surgery.
Stage and Traction: Most have initial revenue, with the highest at >$10M annually. Investment before the program ranged from bootstrapping to a couple million.
Transportation
Parking: Guests may self-park in the campus garage ($10) using this iParkit and Parking Code 590005964. There is no parking attendant, so guests must use this website to register. Enter campus through the main gate on Florida Ave NE and follow signs to the garage.
Uber/Lyft: All rideshares must enter through the main entrance on Florida Ave NE (not the 6th Street gate).
