The Next Wave: Building a Career in Ocean and Sustainability

​About Event

​Join OceanX Ocean Futures Fellows and Sustainable Ocean Alliance Singapore (SOA) for an interactive event and discover interdisciplinary careers in ocean and sustainability. OceanX Education Alumni and OceanX Changemakers Community Members, Lewis Kimaru and Ram Murugan, will share how their journeys began with OceanX Education's Young Explorers Programme aboard the OceanXplorer research vessel, leading them to become Ocean Futures Fellows.

​The session also features a panel discussion where OceanX Fellows and SOA Singapore leaders, in conversation with Associate Professor, Liu Nengye, SMU Yong Pung How School of Law, and Founding Director of the Singapore Sustainable Futures Initiative, explore how to build a meaningful career in ocean and sustainability.

​The evening closes with an open networking session, giving you the opportunity to connect directly with panelists and peers and gain practical career guidance and advice.
