RustChinaConf Shenzhen 主会将于 2026年10月16 号开幕，在正式会议之前，我们在15 号加了一天 Workshop Day。
上午是 Omarchy Shenzhen Meetup。Omarchy 是 DHH 出品的 Linux 发行版，基于 Arch 和 Hyprland。过去一个月全球四十多个城市办了自己的场次。上午不用 PPT，几位日常在用的开发者上来做六分钟实机操作，观众投票。之后是装机时间，现场备离线镜像 U 盘，没装过的可以当场装。
下午两场实操，各两小时。
第一场做一个 computer use agent。给定 spec 和一个真实的 Rust 代码库，实现交给 AI，你负责 review 和把关，编译器兜底。跑通之后，鼠标会自己动起来完成任务。
第二场发板子：vibekeys-max，7 按键，带屏幕和麦克风。clone 开源固件，让 AI 改出一个你要的功能，OTA 刷回板子，体验嵌入式开发。
全天免费，ONES 冠名并提供场地。

Omarchy 是 DHH 出品的 Linux 发行版，基于 Arch 与 Hyprland，口号是 agentic Linux：为 AI agent 时代设计的键盘驱动开发环境。
最近一个月，Omarchy meetup 在全球四十多个城市接连办起来，东京、旧金山、首尔、班加罗尔都有了自己的场次。10 月 15 日，深圳加入这份名单。

下午｜Rust AI Coding Workshop
上半场 13:30–15:30 · 让 AI 写一个会动你鼠标的 agent
这门课有个正式的名字：从手工编码到 AI Coding，我们丧失了编程的乐趣吗。我们不用观点回答，用两小时实操回答。
案例是一个用 Rust 写的 computer use agent：能看屏幕、动鼠标、敲键盘。你从一份 spec 出发，让 AI 在真实代码库上长出一个新能力，编译器把关，你全程不碰实现代码，直到自己的鼠标动起来替你完成任务。AI 写 Rust 会怎么翻车、怎么用工程手段堵住，课上一并见到。教学仓库和全套工程模板归你带走。
下半场 15:50–17:50 · 让 AI 给你手里的板子改功能
2026 年，个人做硬件变成一件简单的事。C/C++ 把嵌入式锁了几十年，AI 写 C/C++ 也照犯内存错误；Rust 把这类错挡在编译期，std 已经能直接跑在 ESP32 上。
课上用真板：vibekeys-max，一块 7 按键、带屏幕和麦克风的键盘。从刷入第一个固件，到 clone 它的开源固件、让 AI 改出一个你想要的功能，OTA 无线刷回手里这块板子。改动出现在屏幕和按键上的那一刻，「做硬件变简单了」这句话就兑现了。
板子默认两人一组结对使用，现场提供租借板，也可按成本价购买带走；自带 ESP32-S3 开发板同样能跟完练习。开放实验环节表现最好的两组，当场各送一块。

The main conference opens on the 16th. The 15th was open, so we added a Workshop Day.
The morning is the Omarchy Shenzhen Meetup. Omarchy is DHH's Linux distro, built on Arch and Hyprland. More than forty cities have run their own meetup in the past month; Shenzhen's is Oct 15. No slides — a few developers who use it daily get six minutes each on a live machine, and the room votes. Then everyone installs. We'll have offline image USB sticks on hand for anyone starting from scratch.
Two hands-on sessions in the afternoon, two hours each.
The first builds a computer use agent. You get a spec and a real Rust codebase; AI writes the implementation, you review, the compiler catches what's left. Once it runs, your mouse moves on its own and does the task.
The second hands out boards: vibekeys-max, 7 keys, a screen and a mic. Clone the open source firmware, have AI build the feature you want, flash it back over the air. Embedded has been a high bar for a long time. std runs on ESP32 now, and with AI that bar drops a lot.
Free for the day. ONES is sponsoring and providing the venue.
Come for the full day, the morning only, or the afternoon only. Half a day off on a Thursday is enough. Main conference ticket holders skip approval and get a reserved seat. After you register you'll get a setup checklist. Please install everything at home and run one sample build before you arrive — the day itself is for hands-on work.

Afternoon｜Rust AI Coding Workshop
Part 1, 13:30–15:30 · Have AI build an agent that moves your mouse
The formal title is: from handwritten code to AI coding — did we lose the fun of programming? We're not answering with opinions. We're answering with two hours of hands-on work.
The case study is a computer use agent written in Rust: it sees the screen, moves the mouse, types. You start from a spec and let AI grow a new capability inside a real codebase, with the compiler as the gate. You never touch the implementation code yourself — until your own mouse starts moving and doing the task for you. Where AI writing Rust goes off the rails, and what engineering practices catch it, you'll see both. The teaching repo and the full project templates are yours to keep.
Part 2, 15:50–17:50 · Have AI change what the board in your hand does
In 2026, building your own hardware got easy. C/C++ locked embedded down for decades, and AI writing C/C++ makes the same memory mistakes anyone does. Rust catches that class of bug at compile time, and std now runs directly on ESP32.
We'll use real boards: vibekeys-max, a 7-key keyboard with a screen and a mic. Flash your first firmware, clone the open source firmware, have AI build the feature you want, then OTA it back onto the board in your hand. The moment that change shows up on the screen and the keys, "hardware got easy" stops being a slogan.
Boards are shared in pairs by default. Loaner boards are available on site, or you can buy one at cost and take it home. Bring your own ESP32-S3 dev board and you can follow along on that too. The two best teams in the open lab get a board each, on the spot.
