​The Industrial Design Society of America (NYC) invites students to step inside the world of KI at the New York Design Center for an evening of design, industry insight, and connection. Students will get an exclusive tour of KI’s space and a behind-the-scenes look at how a leading furniture company approaches design for K-12 and higher education, healthcare, and government.

​Following the tour, KI professionals will join students for a Q&A focused on careers related to furniture and the product development process in real-world environments. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to working professionals and learn about the different paths they can take after design school.

​The evening will conclude with an informal networking opportunity with KI professionals and fellow students from across the tri-state area.

​This event is open to students from all universities in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Whether you’re curious about furniture design, or interested in the variation of KI career paths, we welcome you to join us and get a closer look at the industry.
