[Update: Event canceled, apologies for the inconvenience]

Hosted by Mocha × Anthropic

Small businesses are the backbone of the Bay Area economy, yet most don’t have access to engineers or technical teams to build the tools they need.

Small Business Build Day is a focused, in-person buildathon designed for local founders, operators, and SMB owners who want to turn ideas into working tools in hours, not months.

This is not a traditional hackathon.
It’s the first buildathon for SMB owners.

In one afternoon, you’ll:

• Learn About Mocha

• Network with other business owners

• Build a real working app (CRM, Booking System, Loyalty Card, Internal tool, or automation)

• Learn how AI can support real operational growth

• Get hands-on support from Mocha

• Leave with something you can use for your business.

• Opportunity to win 10k in cash prizes!

No coding experience required.

Whether you're running a service business, retail shop, agency, restaurant, lash studio, or startup, this buildathon is built for practical outcomes and real adoption.

We’ll close with demos, networking, and connections to the local business ecosystem.

Note: Please bring a laptop.

Spots are limited to keep it hands-on.

Seats are limited. Apply to join the world’s first buildathon for SMB owners!
