FDE Course Final Showcase Day

Graduates of the sixonefour labs Forward Deployed Engineering course present their final work on 19 December. Over four weeks and eight live sessions, each of them took a real business case from user research to a working prototype built with AI tools, along with the business case that backs it. At the showcase they pitch both to business stakeholders and to the companies that hire forward deployed engineers.

Who should attend

The showcase is for engineering and business leaders, HR and talent teams, and anyone at a company that is building or planning an FDE team. You will see how the graduates find the real problem with the people who have it, defend their trade-offs in business terms, and present to an audience that doesn't code. It is also a chance to meet engineers who have trained for FDE work.

What the course covers

The course is built on product engineering, which means working across business, product, user experience, and engineering instead of writing code in isolation. The eight sessions cover AI orchestration, product and user validation, business viability, engineering trade-offs, the customer feedback loop, stakeholder negotiation, prototyping, and testing and guardrails. It was designed by tech leaders who have set up and operated FDE teams, and it is taught by Ken Tuan, Phuc Nguyen, Lam Phan, and Xuan Nguyen.

Format

The showcase runs online from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (GMT+7), and it is also the cohort's graduation day. Registration requires approval, and approved guests receive the meeting link before the event. More about the course is at sixonefourlabs.com/fde-course.
