HBHP x Mino Pottery Painting - A Pause for Hope π
βHer Body, Her Power: A Pause for Hope π
βAn intimate autumn pottery painting experience for women, centred around creativity, connection & a moment to pause.
βWhen was the last time you gave yourself a couple of hours to simplyβ¦ be?
βNot working.
βNot taking care of everyone else.
βNot thinking about the next thing on your list.
βJust slowing down, doing something creative and enjoying the moment.
βAs the seasons begin to change, Her Body, Her Power is creating a different kind of gathering.
βOne where you don't need to have everything figured out.
βYou don't need to be artistic.
βAnd you definitely don't need to create the βperfectβ piece.
βSometimes, we just need permission to pause.
βAnd sometimes, within that pause, we make a little room for hope. π€
βπ What this event is
βA Pause for Hope is an intimate autumn pottery painting experience bringing women together for an afternoon of creativity, reflection and genuine connection.
βThis isn't just about painting pottery.
βIt's about stepping away from everyday life for a couple of hours and giving yourself permission to slow down.
βTo create.
βTo talk.
βTo laugh.
βTo meet someone new.
βOr simply to sit, paint and enjoy being present.
βNo pressure. No expectations.
βJust come as you are. π€
βπ« What you'll walk away with
βAt this experience, you will:
βGive yourself intentional time to slow down and reset
βExplore your creativity without pressure or expectation
βConnect with other women in a relaxed and welcoming environment
βMake space for gentle reflection
βCreate your own medium stoneware pottery piece to keep
βLeave with a little reminder to carry hope with you beyond the event
βAnd hopefully, you'll leave feeling just a little lighter.
βπ€ Who this is for
βThis space is for you if:
βYou've been craving some time for yourself
βYou'd love to try pottery painting in a relaxed environment
βYou want to meet and connect with other women
βLife has felt a little busy lately and you'd like an excuse to slow down
βYou enjoy creative experiences β even if you don't consider yourself creative
βYou simply want to do something lovely for yourself this autumn
βYou are completely welcome to come alone.
βIn fact, we want this to be the kind of space where arriving alone doesn't mean feeling alone.
βAnd if you'd rather bring your mum, sister, friend or someone special to you, they're very welcome too. π€
ββ¨ What to expect
βThroughout the afternoon, you'll be guided through a thoughtfully curated experience designed to give you space to create, connect, reflect and pause.
ββ¨ A Warm HBHP Welcome
βYour experience will begin with a welcome from Cigdem Ozkan, Founder of Her Body, Her Power, introducing A Pause for Hope and giving everyone a chance to settle into the space.
βWe'll take a moment together before the pottery begins, nothing heavy, simply an opportunity to arrive, breathe and be present.
ββ¨ Choose & Paint Your Pottery
βThen it's time to create. π¨
βYou'll choose your own medium stoneware pottery piece, with options such as a:
ββ Mug
π₯£ Cereal bowl
π½οΈ Plate
βThen you'll have the freedom to make it completely your own.
βYour pottery experience includes your medium pottery piece, all paints and materials, guidance from the pottery studio, professional glazing and firing.
βNo pottery or painting experience is needed.
βThere is no βgoodβ or βbadβ piece here.
βCreate whatever feels like you.
βOnce your piece has been professionally glazed and fired after the event, you'll be able to collect your finished creation and take it home.
ββ¨ A Pause for Hope
βAlongside the pottery painting, Cigdem will gently guide you through our A Pause for Hope moment.
βA little space to reflect on where you are, what you're making room for and what hope might look like for you in this season.
βYou can journal.
βYou can reflect quietly.
βYou can share if you want to.
βOr you can simply listen.
βThere is never any pressure to share anything personal.
ββ¨ Connection
βOne of the most important parts of Her Body, Her Power has always been creating opportunities for women to genuinely connect.
βThere will be plenty of time to paint, chat, laugh and get to know the women sitting around the table with you.
βCome with someone you know or come by yourself.
βEither way, you have a seat at the table. π€
ββ¨ A Thoughtful Closing & HBHP Goodie Bag
βBefore you leave, we'll come back together for a gentle closing moment.
βYou'll also receive a thoughtfully curated Her Body, Her Power goodie bag to take home, including a little something inspired by the theme of hope. π±

βπ€ A final note
βHer Body, Her Power isn't only about the difficult conversations surrounding women's health.
βIt's also about creating opportunities for women to live, connect, experience joy and make memories together.
βSometimes wellbeing looks like education and difficult conversations.
βAnd sometimes it looks like sitting around a table with other women, paintbrush in hand, creating something that belongs entirely to you.
βThis autumn, we're choosing to make a little room for hope.
βWe'd love you to join us.
βTake the pause.
Create something that's yours.
Make a little room for hope. π
βWith love,
βCigdem Ozkan
