About Event

Her Body, Her Power: A Pause for Hope πŸ‚

An intimate autumn pottery painting experience for women, centred around creativity, connection & a moment to pause.

When was the last time you gave yourself a couple of hours to simply… be?

Not working.

Not taking care of everyone else.

Not thinking about the next thing on your list.

Just slowing down, doing something creative and enjoying the moment.

As the seasons begin to change, Her Body, Her Power is creating a different kind of gathering.

One where you don't need to have everything figured out.

You don't need to be artistic.

And you definitely don't need to create the β€œperfect” piece.

Sometimes, we just need permission to pause.

And sometimes, within that pause, we make a little room for hope. 🀍

β€‹πŸ‚ What this event is

A Pause for Hope is an intimate autumn pottery painting experience bringing women together for an afternoon of creativity, reflection and genuine connection.

This isn't just about painting pottery.

It's about stepping away from everyday life for a couple of hours and giving yourself permission to slow down.

To create.

To talk.

To laugh.

To meet someone new.

Or simply to sit, paint and enjoy being present.

No pressure. No expectations.

Just come as you are. 🀍

β€‹πŸ’« What you'll walk away with

At this experience, you will:

  • Give yourself intentional time to slow down and reset

  • Explore your creativity without pressure or expectation

  • Connect with other women in a relaxed and welcoming environment

  • Make space for gentle reflection

  • Create your own medium stoneware pottery piece to keep

  • Leave with a little reminder to carry hope with you beyond the event

And hopefully, you'll leave feeling just a little lighter.

β€‹πŸ€ Who this is for

This space is for you if:

  • You've been craving some time for yourself

  • You'd love to try pottery painting in a relaxed environment

  • You want to meet and connect with other women

  • Life has felt a little busy lately and you'd like an excuse to slow down

  • You enjoy creative experiences β€” even if you don't consider yourself creative

  • You simply want to do something lovely for yourself this autumn

You are completely welcome to come alone.

In fact, we want this to be the kind of space where arriving alone doesn't mean feeling alone.

And if you'd rather bring your mum, sister, friend or someone special to you, they're very welcome too. 🀍

β€‹βœ¨ What to expect

Throughout the afternoon, you'll be guided through a thoughtfully curated experience designed to give you space to create, connect, reflect and pause.

β€‹βœ¨ A Warm HBHP Welcome

Your experience will begin with a welcome from Cigdem Ozkan, Founder of Her Body, Her Power, introducing A Pause for Hope and giving everyone a chance to settle into the space.

We'll take a moment together before the pottery begins, nothing heavy, simply an opportunity to arrive, breathe and be present.

β€‹βœ¨ Choose & Paint Your Pottery

Then it's time to create. 🎨

You'll choose your own medium stoneware pottery piece, with options such as a:

β€‹β˜• Mug
πŸ₯£ Cereal bowl
🍽️ Plate

Then you'll have the freedom to make it completely your own.

Your pottery experience includes your medium pottery piece, all paints and materials, guidance from the pottery studio, professional glazing and firing.

No pottery or painting experience is needed.

There is no β€œgood” or β€œbad” piece here.

Create whatever feels like you.

Once your piece has been professionally glazed and fired after the event, you'll be able to collect your finished creation and take it home.

β€‹βœ¨ A Pause for Hope

Alongside the pottery painting, Cigdem will gently guide you through our A Pause for Hope moment.

A little space to reflect on where you are, what you're making room for and what hope might look like for you in this season.

You can journal.

You can reflect quietly.

You can share if you want to.

Or you can simply listen.

There is never any pressure to share anything personal.

β€‹βœ¨ Connection

One of the most important parts of Her Body, Her Power has always been creating opportunities for women to genuinely connect.

There will be plenty of time to paint, chat, laugh and get to know the women sitting around the table with you.

Come with someone you know or come by yourself.

Either way, you have a seat at the table. 🀍

β€‹βœ¨ A Thoughtful Closing & HBHP Goodie Bag

Before you leave, we'll come back together for a gentle closing moment.

You'll also receive a thoughtfully curated Her Body, Her Power goodie bag to take home, including a little something inspired by the theme of hope. 🌱

A small reminder that the pause doesn't have to end when you leave the room.

β€‹πŸ€Ž A final note

Her Body, Her Power isn't only about the difficult conversations surrounding women's health.

It's also about creating opportunities for women to live, connect, experience joy and make memories together.

Sometimes wellbeing looks like education and difficult conversations.

And sometimes it looks like sitting around a table with other women, paintbrush in hand, creating something that belongs entirely to you.

This autumn, we're choosing to make a little room for hope.

We'd love you to join us.

Take the pause.
Create something that's yours.
Make a little room for hope. πŸ‚

With love,

Cigdem Ozkan
Founder, Her Body, Her Power
